Also called skin needling therapy or collagen induction therapy, it works by stimulating your skin’s natural healing response, causing your skin to tighten and remodel.
It is suitable for most skin types, including darker and sensitive skins. The treatment takes up to an hour with a minimum of 6 weeks between each treatment so the collagen can regenerate and your skin can rejuvenate fully.
Effects may be seen in as little as 2 weeks and up to 6-8 weeks after, depending on your unique skin type and its response.
Microneedling is a well-tolerated and safe treatment. Your skin will be anaesthetised with a cream 30 minutes before your treatment, meaning that you have minimal or no discomfort during your treatment.
Post-treatment, you can expect some redness and dryness. This is normal after treatment and may last for up to 24 hours depending on the depth of penetration of the needles. You are provided with aftercare serum and cream which soothe and support your healing process.
